What is LED light therapy?
Light therapy is the application of light energy to the skin for therapeutic benefits. It is a natural
photo biochemical
reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. NASA's space program has proven that LED light therapy
(near-infrared) promotes wound healing and human tissue growth. The energy
delivered by the Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)
has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism,
accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin
cells, as well as 
stimulate the production of collagen - the foundation of a healthy and smooth skin.

You will not have to move a hand held unit around your face and neck the entire time and this unit can be mounted on the wall or in a tanning bed, etc. The unit is placed about 2-3 inches from the skin for 20 minutes, 3 times a week for 12 weeks, then maintenance sessions are performed once a month. It is permissible to actually touch the skin with the lights and this device has holes to hang the unit, or use a small display easel to hold the device for hands free operation.
